Reading- This week the skill we will be working on is compare/contrast.  We are using the traditional Night Before Christmas and comparing other versions to it.  We will also try to solve a Christmas mystery on Wednesday and Thursday.
Language-  We will be continuing to work with verbs.  We will learn about the tense of verbs and how to use them correctly.

December 1st-5th

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving break!   
Reading- This week we will complete activities on chapters 29-32 and begin the last section of War With Grandpa.
Language- We will complete a Study Guide of possessive nouns on Monday, and have a test on Wednesday.  On Thursday, we will begin a unit on verbs.
